Like all team sports TeamChess needs a TEAM including
1.TEAM LEADER (coach, trainer, captain of the team) and
2.PLAYERS.

If You are a coach, a trainer, a captain of a team or any professional to manage a TeamChess team, than proceed to Team Leaders' guide.
If You are not a leader of a Teamchess team but a player in a team, than proceed to Players' guide.
To play TeamChess, you will need ...
1) a team (with players enrolled)
2) a chessboard, and
3) an opponent (a team to play against).
TeamChess is played by two teams. Each has a team leader, managing the team. Team leader can invite players into the team, or let a player depart from the team. Thus, a team managed by a team leader is essential to play TeamChess. If you are the coach, trainer, captain of the team, or any similar, then you have to create your team(s) first.

In the top and bottom horizontal frame of the board two signboards present the names of the two teams competing.
L2.2.1
There are two built-in chess clocks in the right vertical frame of the board each showing the time to play remained for the corresponding team.

Options used turn one of the indicators to gray, so if both indicators are grey than no other instance is available for the player controlling the king to designate.
L2.5.2
Once during a game the King has the option to make a move with any of the pieces controlled by his team.
The red colored indicator refers to the available Royal power of giving Order by the player controlling the King.
Indicator turns to gray if the player controlling the King has ordered. Therefore gray color indicates that the piecesthe King has no more option to Order.
There are 2 options to get an opponent:
- You can initiate a game and invite the other team or just let one to drop in.
- You can search the game rooms already created open to join to a game.

Note: if you create a game between two of your teams, first you have to create the game-room with one of these teams, and join with the second in a next step!

L3.1.2.2
The game-room can be created in three different modes:
- Open
- Restricted
- vs Computer
L3.1.2.2.1

L3.1.2.6
Teamchess games can be either Fixed time games or Variable time games.
L3.1.2.6.1
In fixed time games the total time of play you set will be shared equally between the two teams.
Example: Setting 60 minute Total playtime results in 30 minutes game time for each team.
L3.1.2.6.2
In variable time games each team has 30 minutes Thinking time and additional up to 30 seconds Move time for each valid moves completed.
The countdown of the thinking time is suspended until the 30 seconds move time elapses.
If the move would be completed within the move time, than by completing the move the move time of the opponent team starts the countdown.
If within 30 seconds no legal move would be made than the thinking time continues its countdown suspended until the legal move or till 00:00.
In case that any team had spent its thinking time completely the team is still allowed to use its move time periods. However, if no legal move would be made during any move time period, than the game ends in Time Victory.
L3.1.2.7
Who creates the game-room shall decide which colored set of pieces to play: white or black.
Opponent is forced to accept the remaining color.
L3.1.2.8

Game setting defines which player of the team will control which piece.
L3.1.2.9.1
Roles are concepts of TeamChess and are defined by the chess pieces a given player controls.
As each piece has to be controlled by one player of the team and neither piece could have more than one controller: the roles cover the pieces completely and without overlap.
Theoretically there are 65534 (=216-2) different roles.
Roles shall be defined by the team leader, fitting most to the strength and weaknesses of the individual players and of the team as a community of the players.
L3.1.2.9.2
